Leadership
Harrison L. Cobb – Chief Operating Officer
Harrison Cobb is the Chief Operating Officer at MCA Medical Billing Solutions, L.L.C, where he focuses on building strong teams, improving operations, and helping healthcare organizations thrive.
A graduate of Olathe Northwest High School (Class of 2008), Harrison went on to earn his Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice & Legal Studies from Missouri Western State University in 2013. He later completed his MBA at Baker University in 2015.
Outside of his professional work, Harrison is a devoted husband and father of two beautiful children, along with the family dog who keeps everyone on their toes. He enjoys serving the church, writing, reading, and coaching baseball. Whether in business, faith, or family, Harrison brings dedication, integrity, and a passion for helping others grow.
Brennan P. Fagan – Legal Counsel and Member
Brennan P. Fagan was born Topeka, Kansas, January 21, 1975. Mr. Fagan graduated from Washburn Rural High School in Topeka, Kansas in 1993. He graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in 1998 and from the University of Kansas School of Law in 2001. He was admitted to the Kansas Bar in 2001; to the Missouri Bar in 2002; also admitted to practice before U.S. District Court, District of Kansas in 2001 and before the U.S. District Court, Western District of Missouri in 2002.
Mr. Fagan is a Member of the Douglas County Bar Association; the Kansas Bar Association; the Missouri Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. He focuses his practice in the areas of Commercial Litigation, Personal Injury, and General Civil Litigation at Fagan Emert & Davis, L.L.C in Lawrence, Kansas.
In his spare time, Mr. Fagan enjoys following local sports teams, golfing and spending time with friends and family.
Howard L. Kuhn - Vice President and Member
Dr. Kuhn grew up in Northwest Kansas and attended Fort Hays State University before matriculating to the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas. There he earned a degree in Pharmacy. Following two years as a practicing pharmacist with the Walgreen Company, Dr. Kuhn enrolled in the University of Missouri, Kansas City, School of Dentistry.
After Graduating from Dental School in 1975, he collaboratively established the largest group dental practice in Kansas with over 50 employees. Dr. Kuhn retired from the practice of dentistry in 1996 and subsequently was involved in the formation of several small businesses before helping found Medical Care Associates, L.L.C. in 2003, with which he is still involved. Dr. Kuhn lives in Topeka, Kansas, with his wife Carolyn. They enjoy spending as much time as possible with their five granddaughters.
Jerry D. Kuhn – Vice President and Member
Jerry D. Kuhn grew up in Western Kansas and attended Kansas State University, obtaining a B.S. in Biology and an M.S.in Grain Science. He has retired after 38 years of managerial experience in the grain processing industry, but during his career he has held positions as Vice President of Operations for The White Lily Foods Company, Knoxville, TN; Vice President of Operations with Pendleton Flour Mills Division, Pendleton, OR; Vice President of Operations of Southeastern Mills, Rome, GA; and Plant Manager for Dixie Portland Flour Mills and for ADM Milling Company, Chattanooga, TN.
In addition Mr. Kuhn has performed consulting services for several grain processing companies. He is a Past President and past member of the Board of Directors of the International Association of Operative Millers. Mr. Kuhn joined the start up team of Medical Care Associates, L.L.C. in 2003 and remains involved with the Company. Mr. Kuhn is also a veteran of the United States Army, lives in Chattanooga, Tennessee with his wife Nancy and has a son, two daughters and three wonderful grandchildren.
Lana Pohlman - Regional Director
Lana was born in El Dorado, Kansas in 1978. She graduated from Flinthills High School in Rosalia, Kansas in 1997. After spending one year in college, unexpected life events caused her to put her educational goals on hold. After a long delay and wanting to provide a better life for her young son and show him that no obstacle is too hard to overcome, she made the decision to go back to school in the fall of 2009.
Lana graduated from Cowley College with an Associate of Science and Associate of Applied Science in Medical Coding and Billing in 2012. She then graduated from Southwestern College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Healthcare Administration in 2015 while simultaneously completing her Administrator-In-Training program obtaining her Licensed Nursing Home Administrator license the same year.
In her spare time, Lana enjoys every precious moment spent with friends and family. Lana is a lifelong Kansas Jayhawk fan (Rock Chalk!) but enjoys watching all sports. Vacations and anniversaries often involve some type of sporting event!
Jenalee Garcia - Regional Director
Jenalee Garcia is an experienced medical billing and coding professional with over 20 years of expertise in the healthcare industry.
Jenalee began her career in medical billing in 2004, working across a variety of healthcare settings, including clinics, dental offices, hospitals, home health, hospice and skilled nursing facilities. Over the last 5 years she has specialized in billing within the skilled nursing facility field where she honed her knowledge of complex billing practices and regulations.
In 2019, Jenalee expanded her credentials by earning a medical coding certificate, further deepening her expertise and enhancing her ability to navigate the intricacies of the healthcare reimbursement process.
Currently serving as a Regional Director for MCA Medical Billing Solutions, L.L.C., she has been with the company since 2021, where she oversees a team dedicated to delivering accurate and efficient billing services. Outside of work, Jenalee is a proud mother and wife who enjoys spending time with her children and husband. She also finds relaxation in walking and gardening.
Mary Asher – Billing Lead
Mary Asher is a Billing Lead for MCA Medical Billing Solutions, L.L.C. Mrs. Asher has over 30 years' experience in nursing home insurance billing. She and her husband, Leroy, have two children. Jonathan is a police officer and has given them 3 lovely granddaughters, and Elizabeth who is in middle school. Mrs. Asher and her family are strong Christians and strive to live as the Lord wants them to do. She loves “Nana-ing”, helping others and puzzles of all kinds.
Sydney Cobb - Billing Lead
Sydney Cobb is a Billing Team Lead at MCA Medical Billing Solutions, L.L.C., where she passionately serves her customers. Sydney was born in Olathe, Kansas, in 1999. She graduated from Missouri Western State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 2021. She later completed her MBA at the University of Saint Mary in 2022.
She has been with MCA since 2022 as a Billing Team Lead. In her spare time, she enjoys finding new shows to watch, reading, and spending time with friends, family, and her dog, Hank.
Joelle Berry, MSM – Billing Lead
Born and raised in Upstate New York, Joelle is a dedicated business professional with a strong foundation in leadership and management. She earned her B.S. in Business Management from Keuka College in 2021 and continued to advance her education there, completing her M.S. in Business Management in 2023.Since 2023, Joelle has served as a Billing Lead for MCA Medical Billing Solutions, L.L.C., where she brings a detail-oriented approach, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to operational excellence. Outside of her career, Joelle enjoys spending quality time with her three children, her husband, and the family’s Dalmatian. She values creating meaningful memories, staying active with her loved ones, and embracing the everyday joys of family life..
Megan Jordan - Billing Lead
Megan Jordan is a New York native and a graduate of Lycoming College, where she earned a liberal arts degree with a concentration in business management.
She has spent the past 11 years building her expertise in the medical billing and clerical field, including 3 years with MCA Medical Billing Solutions, L.L.C., where she has continued to grow her skills in accuracy, organization, and client service. Outside of work, Megan enjoys relaxing with a good book and spending time outdoors, especially going for walks.
Rachel Berry - Billing Lead
Rachel Berry grew up in several states as the daughter of a naval officer, an experience that instilled adaptability, creativity, and a strong work ethic. After graduating high school, she attended Bradley Academy for the Visual Arts, where she studied graphic design and participated in the Disney College Program.
Rachel spent several years as a Web Design Manager, leading a creative team that developed websites for churches and small businesses, and later broadened her experience as a Marketing Assistant before choosing a new career path.
She has now worked in the medical billing field for six years, including three years with MCA Medical Billing Solutions, L.L.C. Outside of work, Rachel finds joy in spending time with her family and exploring creative projects in her free time.
Michelle Panning- Billing Lead
Michelle Panning is a Billing Lead at MCA Medical Billing Solutions, L.L.C., bringing over 22 years of experience in the healthcare industry, primarily within skilled nursing facilities. She earned her B.S. in Healthcare Management from Rasmussen College in 2012. Michelle began her career in direct care roles in 2002 and later moved into scheduling, where she also provided support in HR, CNA duties, and Health Information as needed.
In 2013, she transitioned into Accounts Receivable, managing AR aging and bringing in revenue, while contributing to ownership transitions, employee training, and improvements to policies and processes.
In her spare time, Michelle enjoys spending time with family and friends, golfing and cruising around town on her golf cart. She is also a dance instructor and is currently working toward her professional MBSR practitioner certification.
Dee Smith - Billing Lead
I grew up in Brooklyn, New York, and graduated from Paul Robeson High School for Business and Technology. I later earned my bachelor's degree in business administration from the City University of New York. Seeking a slower pace and new opportunities for my family, I relocated to Richmond, Virginia.
I have worked in the healthcare field for 19 years, bringing dedication, compassion, and experience to every role I take on. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling and exploring ancient history. My latest voyage led me to one of the seven wonders of the world: Chichen Itza (Yukatan Mexico). My personal hobbies include cooking, spa days, and hosting game nights with my family.
Pamela Austin – Billing Lead
Pamela Austin is an experienced Accounts Receivable Representative with over 30 years of expertise in long-term care.
She ensures accurate billing and timely collections to support the company’s financial operations. Born and raised in Terre Haute, Indiana, Pamela brings a strong work ethic and attention to detail to her role. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration in July 2025, further strengthening her knowledge of financial and administrative processes.
Pamela is passionate about her family and considers being a mom her greatest joy-whether cheering on her daughter at swim meets or caring for her treasured Labrador and gray tabby cat.
Renee Folk - Billing Lead
My name is Renee Folk. I was born in Brooklyn, New York, in 1964 and relocated to Suffolk, Virginia in 1974, where I continued my education and graduated from Forest Glen High School in 1982. Shortly thereafter, I married and started my family while pursuing higher education at Tidewater Community College, earning an associate degree in Business Administration.
I went on to study Finance at Old Dominion University, further strengthening my foundation in business. From 1990 to 2011, I built a successful career in the medical field at Sentara Norfolk General and CHKD before transitioning into finance as a Business Office Manager in nursing home facilities, a leadership role I held through 2025.
In addition to my leadership experience, in 2014, I founded and continue to operate a tax preparation firm that remains open and actively serving clients today.
Shari Huckins - Billing Lead
I am Shari Huckins, a Medical Billing Specialist with 25 years of experience, including 8 years focused on skilled nursing billing. I'm well-versed in individual state Medicaid processes across Illinois, Kansas, California, Missouri, and Oklahoma. I'm committed to accuracy, compliance, and optimizing reimbursement workflows.
In my spare time, I enjoy being with family and friends.
Bob Gault - Account Executive
As the Director of Customer Success at MCA Medical Billing Solutions, L.L.C., Bob Gault is the management liaison between MCA’s customers and MCA’s management team. Bob helps oversee the end-to-end customer journey from sales to onboarding through contract renewal and expansion. He is keen on creating customer advocacy programs that generate references, case studies, and testimonials. He coordinates with the MCA Support team to resolve any operational issues that improve our overall customer experience.
He works closely with the MCA Sales team to ensure a smooth handoff and account coordination. He regularly collaborates with the MCA Product team to help prioritize new service offerings based on customer feedback. With 30+ years of experience in the post-acute space Bob has a wealth of knowledge and experience that makes him an invaluable contributor to MCA’s continued growth and success.
Bob has a storied work history in Sales and Management for companies like Long Term Computer Systems, PointClickCare, he was the Practice Administrator at Covenant Healthcare in Olathe KS and the Director of Dietary at Menorah Medical Center and Oral Roberts City of Faith in Tulsa OK. As a younger man he owned and operated 2 restaurants in MI. He is a father of two beautiful daughters and three amazing granddaughters (Paloma, Vivian, and Persephone). Bob married his college sweetheart (Beri Haddad Gault) and together they have lived in the Brookside area of KCMO. He is an avid reader of Biblical Studies and Christian Theology and even has a storefront on Amazon called “Reformed Colloquy.”
Bob points to two accomplishments for which he is most proud: 1) he helped plant a church in Overland Park KS some 35 years ago (Park Woods Presbyterian Church) that continues to carry out its mission of spreading the Good News of the KOG and 2) he donated one of his kidneys to his sister 26 years ago. The average kidney transplant lasts for 10-12 years. He’s not bashful to attribute this amazing result to the faithful prayers of God’s people and the steadfast love of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Michele C. Hammann – CPA, CVA- Controller
Michele C. Hammann, CPA, CVA is Vice President of Healthcare for Summers, Spencer & Company, P.A. (www.SSCcpas.net) and currently serves as Controller for MCA. She rejoined the Firm in 2005 after four years with Price Waterhouse Coopers in Kansas City, Missouri. Her primary experience is with skilled nursing communities. She earned the designation of Certified Valuation Analyst from the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts and has a Certification of International Business Management and European Accounting Principles.
Jackson Cobb – Operation Manager
Jackson was born in Merriam, Kansas in 1995. He graduated from Olathe Northwest Highschool in Olathe, Kansas in 2013. He then graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biotechnology and Chemistry. Jackson has been supporting Revenue Cycle Management services for MCA since 2023. Jackson enjoys playing Slow-pitch softball, Hardscaping, and Landscaping. In his spare time, he is with girlfriend and his family.
Cory M. Boyle, MHSA – President and Member
Cory M. Boyle was born in Wichita, Kansas in 1977. He graduated from Washburn Rural High School in Topeka, Kansas in 1995.
Mr. Boyle graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Information Management in 2000 and from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in 2003 with a Masters in Health Care Administration. Mr. Boyle has been leading Revenue Cycle Management services for MCA Medical Billing Solutions, L.L.C. since 2003.
Contrary to what his wife would say about him, he enjoys running, staying healthy and working outside. Mr. Boyle spends as much time as possible with his wife and three wonderful children coaching baseball, football, basketball and attending swimming, tennis, gymnastics, ballet, dance, tumbling, karate and soccer practices.
