The team at MCA Skilled is the backbone of our success and the reason Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) across the U.S. trust us with their revenue cycle management. With decades of combined experience in long-term care billing, our team consists of dedicated professionals who understand the complexities of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance requirements inside and out.
Every member brings deep industry knowledge, specialized training, and a passion for solving the financial challenges that skilled nursing facilities face daily. From billers and AR specialists to analysts and account managers, our team functions as a high-performance RCM department for your facility.
We are not generalists. We specialize exclusively in SNF and home healthcare billing, giving us unmatched expertise in this highly regulated, detail-intensive environment.
MCA Skilled - Leadership
Cory M. Boyle, MHSA – President and Member
Cory M. Boyle was born in Wichita, Kansas in 1977. He graduated from Washburn Rural High School in Topeka, Kansas in 1995.
Mr. Boyle graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Information Management in 2000 and from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in 2003 with a Masters in Health Care Administration. Mr. Boyle has been leading Revenue Cycle Management services for Medical Care Associates, L.L.C. since 2003.
Contrary to what his wife would say about him, he enjoys running, staying healthy and working outside. Mr. Boyle spends as much time as possible with his wife and three wonderful children coaching baseball, football, basketball and attending swimming, tennis, gymnastics, ballet, dance, tumbling, karate and soccer practices.
Brennan P. Fagan – Legal Counsel and Member
Brennan P. Fagan was born Topeka, Kansas, January 21, 1975. Mr. Fagan graduated from Washburn Rural High School in Topeka, Kansas in 1993. He graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in 1998 and from the University of Kansas School of Law in 2001. He was admitted to the Kansas Bar in 2001; to the Missouri Bar in 2002; also admitted to practice before U.S. District Court, District of Kansas in 2001 and before the U.S. District Court, Western District of Missouri in 2002.
Mr. Fagan is a Member of the Douglas County Bar Association; the Kansas Bar Association; the Missouri Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. He focuses his practice in the areas of Commercial Litigation, Personal Injury, and General Civil Litigation at Fagan Emert & Davis, L.L.C in Lawrence, Kansas.
In his spare time, Mr. Fagan enjoys following local sports teams, golfing and spending time with friends and family.
Jackson Cobb – Operation Manager
Typography is the art and technique of arranging type to make written language legible, readable and appealing when displayed. The arrangement of type involves selecting typefaces, point size, line length, line-spacing (leading), letter-spacing (tracking), and adjusting the space within letters pairs (kerning).
Dee Smith
I grew up in Brooklyn, New York, and graduated from Paul Robeson High School for Business and Technology. I later earned my bachelor's degree in business administration from the City University of New York. Seeking a slower pace and new opportunities for my family, I relocated to Richmond, Virginia.
I have worked in the healthcare field for 19 years, bringing dedication, compassion, and experience to every role I take on. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling and exploring ancient history. My latest voyage led me to one of the seven wonders of the world: Chichen Itza (Yukatan Mexico). My personal hobbies include cooking, spa days, and hosting game nights with my family.
Pamela Austin – Accounts Receivable
Pamela Austin is an experienced Accounts Receivable Representative with over 30 years of expertise in long-term care.
She ensures accurate billing and timely collections to support the company’s financial operations. Born and raised in Terre Haute, Indiana, Pamela brings a strong work ethic and attention to detail to her role. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration in July 2025, further strengthening her knowledge of financial and administrative processes.
Pamela is passionate about her family and considers being a mom her greatest joy-whether cheering on her daughter at swim meets or caring for her treasured Labrador and gray tabby cat.
Harrison L. Cobb – Chief Operating Officer
Harrison Cobb is the Chief Operating Officer at MCA Medical Billing Solutions, where he focuses on building strong teams, improving operations, and helping healthcare organizations thrive.
A graduate of Olathe Northwest High School (Class of 2008), Harrison went on to earn his Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice & Legal Studies from Missouri Western State University in 2013. He later completed his MBA at Baker University in 2015.
Outside of his professional work, Harrison is a devoted husband and father of two beautiful children, along with the family dog who keeps everyone on their toes. He enjoys serving the church, writing, reading, and coaching baseball. Whether in business, faith, or family, Harrison brings dedication, integrity, and a passion for helping others grow.
Jenalee Garcia - Billing Team Lead at Medicare Care Associates, LLC
Jenalee Garcia is an experienced medical billing and coding professional with over 20 years of expertise in the healthcare industry.
Jenalee began her career in medical billing in 2004, working across a variety of healthcare settings, including clinics, dental offices, hospitals, home health, hospice and skilled nursing facilities. Over the last 5 years she has specialized in billing within the skilled nursing facility field where she honed her knowledge of complex billing practices and regulations.
In 2019, Jenalee expanded her credentials by earning a medical coding certificate, further deepening her expertise and enhancing her ability to navigate the intricacies of the healthcare reimbursement process.
Currently serving as a Billing Team Lead at Medical Care Associates L.L.C., she has been with the company since 2021, where she oversees a team dedicated to delivering accurate and efficient billing services. Outside of work, Jenalee is a proud mother and wife who enjoys spending time with her children and husband. She also finds relaxation in walking and gardening.
Megan Jordan
Megan Jordan is a New York native and a graduate of Lycoming College, where she earned a liberal arts degree with a concentration in business management.
She has spent the past 11 years building her expertise in the medical billing and clerical field, including 3 years with MCA Medical Billing Solutions, L.L.C., where she has continued to grow her skills in accuracy, organization, and client service. Outside of work, Megan enjoys relaxing with a good book and spending time outdoors, especially going for walks.
Rachel Berry
Rachel Berry grew up in several states as the daughter of a naval officer, an experience that instilled adaptability, creativity, and a strong work ethic. After graduating high school, she attended Bradley Academy for the Visual Arts, where she studied graphic design and participated in the Disney College Program.
Rachel spent several years as a Web Design Manager, leading a creative team that developed websites for churches and small businesses, and later broadened her experience as a Marketing Assistant before choosing a new career path.
She has now worked in the medical billing field for six years, including three years with MCA Medical Billing Solutions, L.L.C. Outside of work, Rachel finds joy in spending time with her family and exploring creative projects in her free time.
Renee Folk
My name is Renee Folk. I was born in Brooklyn, New York, in 1964 and relocated to Suffolk, Virginia in 1974, where I continued my education and graduated from Forest Glen High School in 1982. Shortly thereafter, I married and started my family while pursuing higher education at Tidewater Community College, earning an associate degree in Business Administration.
I went on to study Finance at Old Dominion University, further strengthening my foundation in business. From 1990 to 2011, I built a successful career in the medical field at Sentara Norfolk General and CHKD before transitioning into finance as a Business Office Manager in nursing home facilities, a leadership role I held through 2025.
In addition to my leadership experience, in 2014, I founded and continue to operate a tax preparation firm that remains open and actively serving clients today.
Lana Pohlman
Lana was born in El Dorado, Kansas in 1978. She graduated from Flinthills High School in Rosalia, Kansas in 1997. After spending one year in college, unexpected life events caused her to put her educational goals on hold. After a long delay and wanting to provide a better life for her young son and show him that no obstacle is too hard to overcome, she made the decision to go back to school in the fall of 2009.
Lana graduated from Cowley College with an Associate of Science and Associate of Applied Science in Medical Coding and Billing in 2012. She then graduated from Southwestern College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Healthcare Administration in 2015 while simultaneously completing her Administrator-In-Training program obtaining her Licensed Nursing Home Administrator license the same year.
In her spare time, Lana enjoys every precious moment spent with friends and family. Lana is a lifelong Kansas Jayhawk fan (Rock Chalk!) but enjoys watching all sports. Vacations and anniversaries often involve some type of sporting event!
Sydney Cobb, MBA: Billing Team Lead at MCA Medical Billing Solutions
Sydney Cobb is a Billing Team Lead at MCA Medical Billing Solutions, where she passionately serves her customers. Sydney was born in Olathe, Kansas, in 1999. She graduated from Missouri Western State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 2021. She later completed her MBA at the University of Saint Mary in 2022.
She has been with MCA since 2022 as a Billing Team Lead. In her spare time, she enjoys finding new shows to watch, reading, and spending time with friends, family, and her dog, Hank.
Shari Huckins, a Medical Billing Specialist
I am Shari Huckins, a Medical Billing Specialist with 25 years of experience, including 8 years focused on skilled nursing billing. I'm well-versed in individual state Medicaid processes across Illinois, Kansas, California, Missouri, and Oklahoma. I'm committed to accuracy, compliance, and optimizing reimbursement workflows.
In my spare time, I enjoy being with family and friends.
